100 Great Questions

Purpose:

To stimulate imagination, cultivate curiosity, and encourage discussion among visitors to PlanetTrek as they contemplate the future and humanity's place and significance in the universe.

Physical Overview:

• divided into groups of 10 allocated to each of the 10 solar system sculptures

• plaques within each group located at varying distances in the vicinity of their associated sculpture

• plaques placed on nearby walls, embedded in the sidewalk, or attached to other structures in places visible to passers-by

question criteria:

• drawn from the arts and sciences, encompassing the vast panoply of human endeavor

• significant, imagination-stimulating, attention-grabbing

• not readily answerable in the next 10 years

• easily understood

• short and simple: 12 words or less
