Scale Model Sun is sited within a 15' diameter bowl bracketed by seat/table etched with a PlanetTrek Locations Map on its top surface, and an information pedestal.

Sphere is multi-colored, multi-layered enamel powder-coating over stainless steel. Glossy finish is "polished back" to reveal areas of contrasting color. 60-inch daimeter.

Appearance is reflective of its imposing scale and dazzling brilliance.

Base is pre-cast concrete inscribed with the word for "Sun" in various languages. Approximate height with sphere is 6 feet, 6 inches.

Mercury Site

Imaginative Sculpture:

Sphere is 1/2 polished black granite and 1/2 cast bronze. Surface texture of bronze is based on planet as currently photographed and mapped. Eighteen inches diameter.

Appearance is reflective of its known and unknown oprtions.

Base is a Canadian white boulder with black (nickel) veins. Approximate height with sphere is 4 feet 6 inches.

Sphere is fixed to boulder base. Base is attached to footing at ground.

Planet Model:

Pre-cast, uniquely finished concrete.

Informational insets and title plaque in stainless steel, copper or brass, with etched enamel infill.

Unique planet orbital disk depicting the equatorial plane and the scale model planet on the angle of its polar axis.

Reflective of its striations and characteristic rings.
